Tempest Bard

Personal practice piece inspired by the Bard character I made for a D&D game. When I first began sketching out the idea I was thinking of making it fit the world of my D&D game, but then I decided to create something less stylised that put into practice the artistic skills and techniques I've learned. I wanted a more realistic painting with a strong focus on creating good lighting and composition, with value and saturation control.
